Documate March 2025: Mural integration & Improved editing tools

Welcome to our March update! This month, we’ve added valuable features to make your documentation work more efficiently.

From integrating with Mural to enhancing your editing experience, these updates respond directly to your feedback.

Mural integration: Bring your visual collaboration into Documate

You can now embed Mural documents directly in your Documate workspace. This tight integration means you no longer need to switch between tools when referencing visual collaboration boards. Simply embed a Mural within your documentation and keep everything in one place.

This integration helps teams that use visual collaboration to map processes, brainstorm ideas, or create workflows to maintain those visual assets alongside related documentation.

Improved block editing with delete functionality

We’ve enhanced our block editor with a much-requested feature: direct block deletion. Now, when working with content blocks in Documate, you can quickly remove unwanted sections without needing to manually select and delete their content.

This update speeds up document editing and reorganization, especially when working with longer documents that need restructuring.

A few more improvements

🦊 Firefox compatibility: We’ve fixed display issues affecting Firefox users, ensuring consistent performance across all major browsers.

💬 Improved comment handling: Comments now load more efficiently, creating a smoother experience when collaborating on documents with extensive feedback.

We’re constantly working to make Documate better based on your feedback. Try these new features and let us know what you think.
