This month’s Documate release focuses on team collaboration, keeping everyone in the loop and ensuring important conversations are never missed.
With @mentions in comments and instant notifications, your documentation process becomes more connected and responsive than ever.
Mentions in comments
You can now mention team members directly in a comment. Simply type @ followed by their name, and Documate will help you find the right person from your team.
Whether you need input from a subject matter expert, want to loop in a stakeholder, or need someone to review a specific section, with mentions, they’ll know exactly where their expertise is required.
Real-time notifications
The new notification system ensures you never miss when someone needs your input. Receive instant alerts when you’re mentioned in comments, with notifications updating in real time.
Manage your notifications your way. Clear individual items, mark everything as read with one click, or clear your entire notification list when you’re caught up. You stay in control of how and when you engage with your team’s requests.
Quick access to workspace settings
You can now open workspace settings directly from the workspace selector, eliminating extra clicks and navigation steps. Whether you need to adjust permissions, update workspace details, or configure team access, everything is just one click away.
This improvement reduces the time spent navigating through menus and gets you to the configuration options you need faster than ever.
A few more improvements
⚡ Better performance: Page caches refresh automatically after actions, keeping your content current without manual refreshes.
🐛 Comment reliability: Fixed compatibility issues with older comment formats and improved comment editing experience.
📐 UI refinements: Adjusted panel heights and removed unnecessary space for a cleaner, more focused interface.
