Add Miro boards, Canva designs and Loom videos right into your documentation pages. These new capabilities make your documentation more visual, interactive, and comprehensive without sending your readers elsewhere to access critical information.
Miro boards
When explaining complex processes, nothing beats a visual diagram. Until now, you had to screenshot your Miro boards or link out to them, breaking the flow of your documentation.
With our new Miro integration, your entire board displays directly in your Documate pages, maintaining all its interactive elements. Readers can zoom, pan, and explore your diagrams without switching contexts.
💡 Pro tip: Use this for visualising workflows, system architectures, and user journeys that are too complex to explain with text alone.
Canva designs
Your marketing and design teams create amazing visual assets in Canva, but getting those designs into your documentation often means exporting static images that quickly become outdated.
Our new Canva block lets you show any Canva design directly into your documentation. When the design is updated in Canva, it is automatically reflected in your Documate page too.
💡 Pro tip: This works great for brand guidelines, marketing assets, and design systems that need to stay current across your organisation.
Loom videos
Some concepts are simply easier to explain with video. Our new Loom integration allows you to embed walkthrough videos, demos, and explanations directly in your documentation.
Your readers can watch, pause, and rewind without navigating away. Videos play right on the page, making it perfect for showing complex interactions or providing additional context.
💡 Pro tip: Use short Loom videos to demonstrate steps that are difficult to capture in screenshots or text alone.
