We’ve added Knowledge Base import functionality to quickly turn your existing KB articles into well-structured workspaces, and we’ve expanded our AI capabilities with several new text commands and the ability to ask natural language questions directly to your documentation.
Knowledge Base import for quicker workspace creation
Moving from ServiceNow Knowledge Bases to a more powerful documentation tool doesn’t have to be overwhelming.
With our new import feature, you can automatically bring your existing KB content into Documate and save hours of manual work. The system creates workspaces, categories, and pages in seconds while processing the content of each article in the background.
The import preserves your page hierarchy with a tree structure for easy navigation and displays a progress bar to track the import status. Everything transfers smoothly, including text, internal links, and images.
Enhanced AI capabilities for searching and writing
Ask natural language questions directly to your documentation, and Documate will pull answers from your Workspaces, making information access quick and simple for everyone on your team.
We’ve also added some new AI commands:
- Fix Writing: Quickly correct text issues.
- Shorten and Elaborate: Adjust content length with simple commands.
- Continue writing: Generate content directly with Now Assist integration.
Generated content is automatically selected for immediate editing, making the writing process more intuitive.
